How long are the pads supposed to last?
Pads can be reused many times. How long pads last varies depending on skin condition, skin preparation, storage and climate. RS Medical expects pads to last for about a month worth of treatments. Following the recommended instructions and pad care instructions described on the outer package will extend the life of a pad.

How often should I charge my batteries? How long will a charge last?
We recommend that you keep the RS-4i and RS-2m on the charger between treatments. A full charge will provide roughly two hours of treatment time, depending on intensity. For the RS-TENS Plus, rechargeable batteries should be charged when exhausted; for those who did not receive rechargeable batteries, you will be sent new alkaline batteries every month.

Will I still receive pads once the device is purchased?
Most patients continue to receive pads on a monthly basis after their device is purchased. This may depend on what arrangement your insurance company makes with RS Medical.

Will I be able to place the pads on my back unassisted?
The RS-FBG Full Back Garment and RS-LB Low Back Garment helps patients get pads on difficult, hard-to-reach areas. Pads are placed on the garment according to the prescription. Patients then put the garment on, connect the stimulator and lay down to take their treatment.
