Over 30,000 Patient Results

Since 2015, RS Medical has been tracking RS-4i Plus Personalized Patient Assessments using the Defense & Veterans Pain Rating Scale (DVPRS). During the past 10 years, we’ve collected results from over 30,000 patients.

How We Collect This Data

Baseline: Patients prescribed a device are queried by an RS Medical representative to complete a baseline survey. This establishes their pain levels, what impact pain has on their lives, activity levels and medication consumption before they begin treatment.

30-Day Follow-Up: Approximately 30 days into treatment, we follow up with a second survey. This gives us the ability to compare scores and document changes.

Methodology: The assessment questions used have been adapted from the Defense & Veterans Center for Integrative Pain Management (DVCIPM) Defense & Veterans Pain Rating Scale (DVPRS) and Supplementary Questionnaire.

Patient Assessment Report

Patient Assessment Reports from RS Medical are shared with the prescribing healthcare practitioner. These reports compare the results from a Baseline Assessment, taken just prior to treatment with an RS-4i Plus, to results from a Follow-Up Assessment taken 30 days later.

For the provider, this offers a multi-point talking tool to demonstrate whether pain levels are diminishing and/or whether specific qualities of life are improving. It can also highlight areas where a patient may need additional support.

Take a look at a cumulative report from all patient assessments taken January 2015 through August 2025.
