Kayley’s Story: “The RS-4i® Plus Is the Eighth Wonder of the World”

Kayley’s journey with pain began in college with two knee injuries that occurred while playing soccer, her favorite sport. Kayley reflects on her time playing and says, “I had a great time. I wouldn’t have changed anything for the world.”

Years later, 9/11 happened. Like many who were moved by the events of that day, Kayley joined the National Guard to serve her country. She was injured during her service and has lived with pain ever since.

“I’ve had nine knee surgeries, three total knee replacements, and right now have three herniated disks, two bulging disks and two pinched nerves in my back.”

Kayley’s journey to find relief led her to the Buffalo VA in New York, where she was introduced to a device that changed everything.

Skeptical but Willing

Kayley had tried many therapies to manage her pain. When someone initially prescribed her a TENS unit, she rolled her eyes. She had little hope that another device would make a difference. But during her visit to the Buffalo VA, her Physical Therapist asked her if she’d be willing to try a new device: the RS-4i Plus with Intersperse.

An Overwhelming Moment of Unexpected Relief

As the clinician set Kayley up with the device and she started to turn it up and up, he acknowledged what Kayley had been living with.

“Whoa, you do have a lot of pain,” he said.
“I sure do,” Kayley replied matter-of-factly.

Then something happened that she had never experienced before.

“All of a sudden my pain goes away for the very first time, and I start to tear up,” she said. “And he says, ‘Oh my gosh, are you okay? Are you in pain?’ And all of a sudden, I couldn't speak.”

The relief was immediate and overwhelming. Kayley was speechless.

Relief That Continues

The initial impact of the RS-4i Plus didn’t end when the session was over. As Kayley left the Buffalo VA, she noticed something remarkable – that “the ‘no pain’ actually continued.”

For Kayley, this was more than just temporary relief. It was the first time she felt real hope.

A Device Worth Sharing

Kayley has told many people about her experience with the RS-4i Plus, and believes others deserve to know what it can do to help them.

“I can't say enough…I have told so many people about this device. I tell people there are seven wonders of the world, and the RS-4i Plus is the eighth wonder of the world.”

Kayley’s story is a powerful reminder of what is possible when pain relief works. At RS Medical, we are proud to support Veterans like Kayley with non-invasive, drug-free solutions that help them reclaim their lives.

About the RS-4i Plus with Intersperse

The RS-4i Plus is an advanced home-use electrotherapy device that combines true high frequency (5000 Hz) Interferential Therapy (INF) for long-lasting pain relief, with Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) for muscle rehabilitation. During the same, uninterrupted treatment session, the RS-4i Plus both excites the body’s natural endorphin production to relieve pain, and provides rehabilitative muscle therapy that reduces muscle spasms, increases circulation and prevents disuse atrophy.

For patients like Kayley, it’s more than a device – it’s a lifeline to feeling more in control, more mobile and more present for life’s biggest moments.
